Transport ServicesBeing an industrially developed district, Amravati has well maintained roads across the entire district. NH6 runs through the district connecting the Eastern part of India. Moreover being a tourism centric region, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) maintains good buses, which connects all the major tourist spots of the district.
Amravati is on the Bandera Nagpur line with the closest railway station being Amravati station. The Mumbai Kolkata broad gauge line also passes through the district and is thus connected to all the major stations of the state and the country.
