Shopping in Amravati

Amravati has undergone tremendous changes under the rule of various kings and empires, some of which has hugely impacted the lifestyles of the local populace. Due to this influence, various articles of different cultures can be easily found in the city. Various traditional articles worth shopping and collecting are available in the local markets of Amravati, ranging from handloom, jeweleries, traditional wares, potteries, etc. extending to the modern day articles and products. Amravati has also developed and urbanized. Hence all products to satiate the modern interests are abundantly available.

There are local markets in every colony and areas for regular shopping. To complement this, many big shopping malls and super markets have also established business. Big automobile showrooms, exclusive brand stores, emporiums are now a days a common sight in the district of Amravati.

There are various cinemas and multiplexes also running the latest and popular movie titles. Big Cinemas Reliance and Best Cinema, both located at the Jaistambh Chowk, along with E-Orbit (at Big Bazaar Mall) are the three important multiplexes in the Amravati town. Some of the popular malls like Rock Arcade Shopping Complex, Jawahar Mall and Ladha Mall. However, the Big Bazaar brand of super store has recently closed their business in the town, unable to survive competition from other local and big brands like Reliance Mart and D Mart.

To sum it all, the Amravati of today as we know it is well commercialized.  The locals do not have to go far from their places of residents to buy their materials of regular use. Almost everything is available locally in Amravati, with adequate post sales servicing utilities available.
